Refund and Returns Policy

Amtek Infocom (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to delivering high-quality IT services, software, and hardware solutions. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms for requesting a refund. It also covers the return or cancellation of products and services purchased from us.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Services: Custom software development, consulting, managed services, training, support contracts.
- Digital Products: Software licenses, downloadable tools, subscriptions.
- Hardware & Equipment: Servers, networking components, peripherals sold directly by us.
Please also review any additional terms in your Service Agreement or Purchase Order, as exceptions may apply.
2. Definitions
- Customer: Any individual or entity purchasing products or services from Amtek Infocom.
- Order Date: The date on which the purchase is confirmed and payment collected.
- Delivery Date: The date on which services commence or products are shipped/delivered.
3. Service Cancellations & Refunds
- Pre–Commencement Cancellation:
- Customers may cancel a service engagement in writing up to five (5) business days before the scheduled start date for a full refund of any fees paid, less non-refundable expenses (e.g., third-party licensing).
- Post–Commencement Cancellation:
- If a service is cancelled after commencement but before halfway completion, we will refund on a pro-rata basis for the unperformed portion, subject to a 10% administrative fee.
- No refunds are available once a service milestone is delivered and accepted in writing by the Customer.
- Retainer & Support Plans:
- Monthly retainers may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice, effective at the end of the next billing cycle. No refunds for partial-month usage.
- Annual support plans offer a prorated refund for unused months, less a 15% cancellation fee.
4. Digital Products & Software Licenses
- Downloadable Software & Licenses:
- All sales of digital products are final once the download link or license key is provided.
- Refunds will only be granted if:
- The product is demonstrably defective, and
- Amtek Infocom is unable to remedy the defect within seven (7) days of notification.
- Subscriptions & Renewals:
- Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via your account portal or by written notice.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; no prorated refunds for the remaining term.
5. Hardware & Equipment Returns
- Return Window:
- Customers may return unopened, undamaged hardware within fourteen (14) calendar days of Delivery Date.
- Return Procedure:
- Submit a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request to support@amtekinfocom.com with your order number and reason.
- Upon RMA approval, ship the item in its original packaging, insured and prepaid.
- Restocking Fee & Refund:
- A 10% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
- Refunds will be issued within 30 days of our receipt and inspection of returned goods.
- Non-Returnable Items:
- Opened or damaged hardware
- Customized or special-order equipment
- Software that was bundled with hardware
6. How to Request a Refund or Return

- Information Required:
- Order/Invoice number
- Product or service description
- Reason for refund/return
- Proof of purchase
- Processing Time: We aim to acknowledge your request within 3 business days and process approved refunds within 30 days.
7. Non-Refundable & Excluded Items
- Consulting or advisory sessions already completed
- Third-party licenses, subscriptions, or fees incurred on your behalf
- Fees for legal or compliance services once work has commenced
- Shipping, handling, and insurance charges
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreement, please contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@amtekinfocom.com. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to binding arbitration under the rules of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Thane, Maharashtra.
9. Amendments
We may revise this policy periodically. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
